PREJEAN WINERY Prejean Winery grows grape varieties that originated in Europe: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay. Europe, and generally the French model, was the foundation of the modern wine industry. Prejean Winery has one of the earliest plantings of Merlot in the Finger Lakes from which we produce a varietal Merlot and sometimes blend it into our other Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

MISSICK CELLARS Missick Cellars of Starkey is on the west side of Seneca Lake and also has a tasting room in Geneva called Missick Cellars North. The Missick family is marking the seventh anniversary of its ownership of Missick Cellars (FKA-Villa Bellangelo ) after moving from California to the Finger Lakes. The family said it focused on creating Rieslings, Chardonnays and Cabernet Francs.
