CANANDAIGUA LAKE

Canandaigua Lake is the most western of the four lakes in the winery region of the Finger Lakes. Near the northern end is Squaw Island. It is one of only two islands in the eleven Finger Lakes. Sport fishing is popular for such species as lake trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, and panfish, including yellow perch, blue gills, rock bass and bullheads.
